Now California may be the most progressive or legislated state in the union when it comes to “Green”.  But our county and state lag far behind many other counties.

Germany has created a renewable energy sector employing almost 500,000 workers with a turnover of 19 billion euro, while the UK employs just 7,000 employees, generating 280 million euro, said the TUC. The Press Association

Green collar is the new phrase for those blue and white collar workers who have jumped into the Eco-friendly Green economy.

Green-collar jobs are in more demand than ever. Jobs in the green industry eco-friendly construction, for instance have been labeled green collar. But green jobs span way beyond installation of solar panels or working for the Environmental Protection Agency.
