Energy is the greatest resource we have in the world. So much of the social, economic, political, geographic world is tied to one thing, energy.
We know Gas, from oil has been the mainstay of the economy since the early 1900’s, and the world is grown to the point, where we have already peaked in world oil production. The United State’s oil production peaked in the 1970s, and most authorities say that world production will peak between 2005 and 2010.
So what now?
We need to be smart about our energy, and our economy. Buying foreign oil sends billions of dollars to other governments, meaining we are exporting our wealth as a nation.
“A record 1.6 million barrels a day in U.S. refined petroleum products were exported during the first four months of this year, up 33 percent from 1.2 million barrels a day over the same period in 2007.” Forbes.
