Green collar is the new phrase for those blue and white collar workers who have jumped into the Eco-friendly Green economy.
Green-collar jobs are in more demand than ever. Jobs in the green industry eco-friendly construction, for instance have been labeled green collar. But green jobs span way beyond installation of solar panels or working for the Environmental Protection Agency. Today, they cover nearly every industry as politicians, government officials and corporate executives finally hear what consumers are demanding: green sustainable practices.
